Easter

Paxton loved the hunt of the eggs! He opened every egg before moving onto the next egg too see what was inside! Below are picks of all his hunts! The first picture is a onesie we made for Clara or Bennett using the leftover egg dye!

Messy Town

Messy Town was a blast! Surprisingly Paxton stayed away from the really messy stuff and enjoyed play dough, the rice table and places to climb! He had lunch with teacher friend buddies before they got messy!!

Spring break

We had cold, snowy weather for spring break which was a bummer! However, Bob only worked a few days during spring break so we relaxed as a family. Most exciting news is we completed Paxton's "big boy room" and he officially sleeps in his bed! The highlight of spring break was the arrival of Sutton Meyer Welch!

Family Baby Shower

My mom, sister and sister-in-law hosted the most thoughtful shower for Baby Welch #2.
A few highlights of the shower, and there were many highlights, including the desserts! Maybe it's because I love sweets or because I am pregnant, but we had 3 choices...#1 chocolate with brownie, Heath and chocolate pudding #2 Banana Cream pudding (Paxton loved this one!) and strawberry shortcake. I ate the chocolate and banana dessert, why not?
The rest of the food was delicious, it included all my favorites, fruit, vegetables, hummus and cashews!
The decorations were all personally made by Ashley and so creative!
Pictured first is a family tree that will hang in Clara or Bennett's room. Each guest added their finger print and name!

Clara? Bennett?

9 weeks until the arrival of our sweet baby boy or girl. Bob is sure it's a girl and I don't have a feeling either way.
Spring break has allowed time to move Pax to his big boy room and organize and redecorate for Clara or Bennett!
Some belly pictures!

Just some fun pictures

The first picture is Pax and his buddy Jensen. They thought it was so funny having buckets on their heads and sliding. The last picture is at TUE Literacy Night in the Reading Cafe, this might have been Paxton's favorite room because of the cookies!

Binky

Last night I decided to try nighttime without binky. I don't know why? It just felt like the right moment. So before bed explained binky went "bye bye." Poor little guy looked all over his room and dug through his crib looking for it. Finally he gave up the search, said goodnight, and went to sleep. It.was.so.easy! I couldn't believe how easy it was for him. It reminds me of what an easy going kid he is! Below is the last picture of P with his binky and all of his animals, pillow and blanket that go to bed with him!
