First Day of Preschool

Paxton's first day at Montessori! His teacher said he is so happy and vacuumed a lot! Sounds just like him! He loves school, he walks in the door puts on his inside shoes and says "bye mama!" So unlike me, who was timid and scared the first days of school for a long time! Maybe it helps that Madilyn is in his class? Today a random little girl said to me, "Paxton was good today even when Madilyn isn't watching him!" Ha! Funny thing is I over heard Madilyn tell her friend, "Isn't he cute? He's my little brother!" These two, they love each other, and to know they will spend time together at school is pretty special! Even better, when I return to work, and he's not at Montessori, he will be with His other cousin. So lucky!
While Paxton is at school two mornings a week I have some alone time with Bennett and it has been just what we needed, we have bonded, lots of giggles (from him) and cuddling.

2 months old, already!?

Bennett is two months old! Some say he looks like my dad, I'm starting to think he looks like Paxton!
In one picture you'll notice he has a scratch under his eye and it's from Melvin. A very scary moment when we were all playing around, being silly, and Bennett was on the floor. Melvin accidentally stepped on him. Bennett cried, I cried, but everyone is okay, thankfully!

To the market we go

The Farmers Market in LS is pretty big. Lots of vendors, lots of people and fun. This Wednesday they celebrated Christmas in July so we went . Santa was there is his summer clothes, Paxton was a bit fearful of Santa but Bennett loved Santa. The ballon artist was so talented, we waited a long time for Paxton to get a blue puppy. It didn't hold up too long, and later became a snake! In all it was a good time for everyone! We also feel a bit of relief and excitement when we are able to do things as a family of four!

Bennett Man

Some pictures if our sweet little guy! This morning, when he woke up at 8:00, Bennett is an incredible sleeper at night, he was all smiles and talking like crazy, I didn't want the moment to pass.

Summit Waves

Just last year Pax needed help down the slide at Summit Waves, not this year, he took it like a champ! While we were busy at Summit Waves, Bennett napped and hung out with Nana, can't wait for Bennett to go next summer!
