FIRE

It is 115 degrees today and the Lenexa Fire Department was called to an enormous apartment building fire.  In my wildest dreams I cannot imagine how it hot was for the guys fighting the fire.  Since Bob is part of the fire investigation team for LFD, not only did he spend many hours fighting the fire during the day, later he went back to investigate the cause of the fire.  Below are pictures of the fire.

We have started to see a glimpse of Paxton's little smile and I can't get enough of it!

Cousins

At first Madilyn didn't have any interest in Paxton.  When she visited him at the hospital she stared at him.  Then she started saying, "Paxton is little, very little!"  The weeks following she continued to look at  him from a distance until last Sunday at family dinner.  She looked at me holding Paxton and said "hold him!"  When I look at the picture it makes my heart warm, because I look forward to the two of them becoming buddies!:)
