Donkey Punch at Sugar Creek

The first BBQ contest of the season and Bob, cooker of the ribs this season (he wasn't doing so hot with chicken) placed 4th! This is also the last time the BBQ team will go by Donkey Punch because they are changing their name...something about the inappropriateness of the name and their kids getting older:)!!

Big Truck Night

I took P to Big Truck Night hosted by Parents As Teachers. He had a good time RUNNING around the parking lot!

This was Pax's first time in a sandbox and he LOVED it! Luckily he ate only a little bit of the sand.

Biking Fail

Confession. Bob and I dream of taking Pax on long bike rides. We love to bike and we hope to share the same love with P. He received a bike helmet for Easter so it seemed the perfect opportunity to take a bike ride and so we did despite the fact that the bike carriage is recommended for kids 18 months and older.

He started happy!





But really he is too little! What were we thinking?? He kept sliding down and the straps don't really hold him in and the helmet didn't stay on. We made it to the park.



Maybe the combination of too small, sort of bumpy and being exhausted made it a bad trip! He feel asleep during the 1 mile trip home.





So we will try again in a few months?!

Donkey Punch BBQ

The guys from the BBQ team came over to get the BBQ season started!






Bob is the Rib Man this year so he will be cooking the ribs for the team and they were delicious!


It was an awesome day to get together and be outside! Paxton enjoyed playing with Lincoln!

Warm weather

Today at Legacy Park Pax visited the Easter Bunny.



I think he looks so big in this picture!
He also met up with his buddy Grant and went on a wagon ride with him!




Since it was 90 degrees today we got P's pool out onto the deck and he played in the pool for at least an hour..



This cup entertained him almost the entire time:).

First Tooth

It happened!! Pax has his first tooth on the bottom of his mouth! We can feel just the tip of the tooth coming through. It explains why he is waking more at night and having a difficult time going to sleep. Poor guy!
