A photo that tells so much

I know this photo seems boring, but I believe it captures so much about Paxton. You can see those sweet, soft, blonde curls! Also, on the right is our neighbors rock garden. Each time we are on a walk Pax stops to play in the rocks, rearranging the rocks, throwing in rocks that have escaped and feeling their texture. This picture also captures his love for pushing and pulling and objects. Especially random objects such as a cooler!

Playing with friends outside

Our neighbor Haley described Paxton as "a little outdoor baby." She is right. He begs to be outside constantly. Here is a typical "outside day" after work.

Playing with the neighbors

Walking up to the park nearby our house! Often we see the Bixler's and Pax and Lincoln play. Mostly Pax follows Lincoln around!

Fall Fun Fest

It was fun to take Pax to the FFF since I have many memories of going as a kid. They had a great kid area that will be fun for Pax when he is older however the petting zoo and slide were a hit!

If only you could have seen the smile on his face while sliding!

It was quite the petting zoo. It included zebras, yaks, miniature ponies and more! He had fun with Uncle Nathan feeding the animals.

And there were monkeys, but you obviously couldn't pet them. It was a strange "petting zoo!" Looking at the pictures reminds me how worried we were that the animals were probably treated poorly.

Pax enjoyed the FFF Parade from his stroller and lasted almost 45 min.

Auntie and Madilyn joined us. Madilyn captured lots of moments on her camera too!

I want to write about a few things that make me smile about Paxton right now.  These are things about him I do not want to forget.

1.  Someone at the store the other day said his hair was the texture of cotton candy.  It is.  So soft and fluffy, but I have to cut it.  It has knots in it, and he looks pretty scuzzy most of the time.  But I love those curls!  I think I will cut it myself.

2. He hums while he plays.  The sweeetest sound.

3. He blew a kiss today, for the first time, to his buddy Jensen.

4.  He loves playgrounds.  He starts sprinting toward them once he has one in sight.  We played for an hour and a half today at Great Beginnings Playground.

5.  He loves motorcycles.  When hears or sees one he stops what he is doing to watch.

6.  He stuffs anything and everything into cans, boxes, drawers, under cushions and shoes.  Bob mentioned the other day that he finds treasures in his shoes and it makes him smile.

Freeze time

Pax and I were visiting my grandparents last weekend and my grandpa said that when his kids were little there were times when jokingly he wanted to put his kids in the freezer and freeze them just the way they are. This would be a time I would want to throw Pax in the freezer. He is inquisitive, easily amused, happy, friendly, loving and ornery!

The not so little guy is 15 months.
He weighs 24lbs 50%
Height 30.5 inches 25%
Head 70% Big Brains!

Some things we have been up to..

Eating of course!!!

Little scholar reading in his rocking chair. I love his pot belly. He must have had a big dinner!

Bass Pro with Nana!

I don't know if I'll ever be okay with Pax driving a 4 wheeler.

The bumps and bruises are constant.

Sitting on the window sill. Why not?:)

We made it 6ish miles on our bike and a trip to the park. It ended with Pax falling asleep again:).
