Paxton 2.5

I feel the need to write about Paxton and who he is at this moment in time. I'll start by saying he is singing almost all the time, he sings nursery rhymes, mostly his own version (no more Paxton's jumping on the couch!), or some top 40's hits like What Does the Fox Say? or Suit and Tie. He loves to watch Handy Manny. A show about a Hispanic boy and his tools who fix things. He is so independent. Loves pouring his own juice, cereal, milk, the words "I can do it" are heard often. He loves to read books. We read two before nap and bed but he will read books to collect stacks of books. He is all about pretending. He is a firefighter and he tells most people he is a firefighter and his dad is "a great big firefighter." He loves his brother. If B is napping or in a different room, he asks about him. This morning at breakfast he said "how's your day going Bennett? Is it good?" I have also overheard him saying, "it's okay sweetheart." Some days I have to dig really deep to answer his 100,000th question or to get him to change his pull-up (I need to potty train this guy). He loves to pretend to be a doctor, construction worker, repair man and gets into costume. I also must mention how snuggly and affectionate he is, he hugs often and I never refuse a Paxton hug. In all, he is pretty darn compliant as long as you give him "2 more minutes!" I love the way he says "cernect" instead of "connect" and how is using the word "also." He loves to eat peanut butter and jelly, yogurt, cereal, banana, blueberries (he loves blueberry EVERYTHING!) any fruit or veggie and of course he loves suckers, they are his fav. He loves the color blue and always has. He is obsessed with Madilyn. He refers to her as "mine Madilyn." He is also obsessed with Sutton. He is an amazing sleeper. He loves to climb ladders. One night I went to his room because he was crying and saying momma. He explained "I was climbing the ladder (his headboard) to hang a picture of Santa Claus and I fell off my ladder."
