Christmas

Paxton really enjoyed opening presents this year.  He was adamant about tearing every piece of tape and paper off of each box he opened and most toys had to be opened immediately after he unwrapped them.  I have to say, the play kitchen and vacuum were probably the highlights of his Christmas this year.  He loves to vacuum and he loves to cook in his kitchen!

Pictures of lots of present unwrapping!

The empty box always is entertaining!

Zoo in December-break from Christmas fun

Who would have thought we would go to the Zoo in December??!!  We did! My favorite trip so far to the Zoo, hardly anyone was there and Paxton could run the trails!

Crown Center

Crown Center is a tradition.  My mom, sister and I have visited, dined and shopped at Crown Center every year around Christmas. It is even sweeter now that Paxton and Madilyn can be part of the tradition.  Paxton had more fun than I could have imagined.

The indoor playground before seeing Santa was a blast for Paxton. He loves climbing, jumping and manipulating things!

Paxton climbed up the markers and down the slide over and over again!

I think this photo is hilarious for lots of reasons.  First, Paxton screaming is funny, but everyone else is smiling as if there isn't a kid screaming, even I am smiling as if Paxton isn't screaming!!

Dinner at Fritz's!

These two are so sweet together.  We could not get enough pictures of them holding hands and walking down the hallway.

I love the way Paxton is looking up at her!

They continued to hold hands while they looked at Winter Wonderland. Really, it was so genuine.

Coloring at the Crayola store.  Madilyn colored this picture for us!:)

ALL the Fun Leading up to the Holidays

All the fun we had leading up to the holidays!

Christmas in the Park.  Fireworks!  Honestly, Paxton was more interested in pushing his stroller.

Downtown Lee's Summit Mayor's Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.

Visiting Santa at Bass Pro Shop.  He wasn't a fan of "ho, ho, ho!"

Paxton and I "made" and decorated sugar cookies for Nana and Grandad's Lighting Ceremony (but I forgot to bring them!).  Paxton loved rolling the dough and adding the sprinkles. I am absolutely positive he ate his share of sugar cookie dough.

Dinner at Bass Pro after visiting Santa.

LFD Christmas lunch.

We also visited Longview Lights! Paxton was more entertained by being in the front seat of the car (visor, buttons on the radio, etc.) then the actual lights.

November

Highlights from the month of November!

David Cook was honored at TUE, they named the circle drive David Cook Alumni Way.
All the guys at Station #2 grew mustaches for prostate cancer awareness month in November.  Bob is especially creepy with his mustache.

Taking a nap after our first Thanksgiving dinner.
